About Us

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

The Kiwanis Club of Kingsway Humber consists of the combined Clubs of Kingsway and Humber Valley.   Both Clubs have a rich and impressive history of community service for over 60 years.    The amalgamation in 2004 joined members with experienced involvement in Kiwanis service, dedicated teamwork and strong friendships.    The Club has since grown by attracting new members from the community who wish to become personally involved in helping to make this a better world for everyone.

The Kiwanis Club of Kingsway Humber provides financial support to community partner organizations (SCAW, CNIB, Dog Guides Canada, Youth without Shelter, UNICEF, Kiwanis Music Festival, Wounded Warriors, Etobicoke Arts, CEES) and many others each year and also provide leadership opportunities for children and teenagers through Kiwanis school clubs such as Key Club (high school) and Circle K Club (university).

The Kiwanis Club of Kingsway Humber hold lunch meetings with an organized program including a speaker offering an atmosphere of learning, fun and fellowship on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at the Old Mill Restaurant.  Board meetings are held on the third Monday of  the month at Kingsway Lambton Church.

In addition to attending these meetings, Club volunteers assist each month with Kiwanis Service Projects.      Service Projects are often linked to the Kiwanis Program.
